I will probably get used to it, but I do not think I will come to terms with the words. I think it is something in the “bl” sound. Blath feels even worse, especially when completed with the osphere. This is probably just a dislike of change and the new when it comes to language. Blather and blathering which have similar sounds are great words, but as I cannot think of anything else with the ‘bl’ sound maybe the association is too close for comfort

prob’ly you’ll get used to “my blog” and “blogging” soon enough …
but you could always try “my webpage” and, um, … “writing”.
